Kanyeezy.
Just found a moment to sit down and listen to Kanye West’s new album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
So far, it’s amazing.
Without belting out a cliché, it honestly is taking hip hop to the next level and continues his quest to ensure that the music is a legitmate artform.
Fake Shore Drive has made a compilation of all of the tracks sampled on the album. It’s a great...
The Royal Fricken Wedding.
I’m over the royal wedding already and it’s only been a couple of days since the announcement.
Now comes details of where Prince William popped the question to Kate “Waity Katie” Middleton and I’m shocked!
Here’s someone who has millions of dollars at his disposal (generally courtesy of the British taxpayers) and he apparently proposed in this rustic shack...
Mega Mess Up.
A group of 7-year-old kids went to see the new animated feature Megamind in Massachusetts, USA, this week.
However, instead of being shown the flick, the cinema accidentally screened the beginning of Saw 3D!!
In the couple of minutes that the children were exposed to, the kids saw images of a man with his foot cut off, as well as a woman being killed by a buzz saw.
Whoops!
Timewasters.
If you have too much time on your hands (and sometimes I do), take the follow instructions and plug them into Google Maps:
Go to Google Maps and click “Get Directions.” Get directions leading from China to Taiwan, and look at instruction #55.
and
Go to Google Maps, get directions, put Japan as start location and China as end location. Now read direction 43.
Who finds this stuff?
Zach Galifa... Galifen... That Guy From The...
Zach Galifianakis is best known for his work in The Hangover and his online series Between Two Ferns (and for allegedly helping to get Mel Gibson bumped from The Hangover 2).
He also has an official website. This is his bio:
“I am from the foothills of North Carolina. I now live in the mountains of that state. And also live in Brooklyn. I come from a strong family. I enjoy tractors...

Getting Your Song On The Radio.
Lately we’ve been receiving loads of demos from people hoping to get their song played on the radio. We receive literally hundreds of demos per month and it’s clear that there are a lot of really talented, passionate people trying to break into the industry.
Then, there are those who still have a long way to go. These are usually the same people who get pissed when their song doesn’t get played.

Peanut Gallery.
Got this piece of Twitter feedback that I thought I’d share:
“What do (name deleted) & @christoradio have in common? both #fraud & #failures of being #australian”
What does this even mean?
The Word Is Snap.
Frankie Muniz, one time star of Malcolm In The Middle, responded to a post from one of his Twitter followers:
@iHeartMtnDEW: ur acting is just, awful. sorry but, it is.
@frankiemuniz: Yeah, but being retired with $40,000,000.00 at 19 has not been awful. Good luck moving out of your moms house before youre 35.
The word you’re looking for is “Snap”.

Interviews.
We get alot of requests from listeners asking to speak to their favourite stars, especially when a fan hears that they’re going to be on the show.
I always feel bad telling people that it isn’t possible, because most of the time the interview isn’t happening when we say it is….
Almost 100% of the interviews you hear on the radio are pre-recorded (this goes for every radio...

The American.
I love a good movie review. It’s not because I genuinely want a strangers insight into their thoughts on the latest cinema fare, but because I love reading how much B.S. someone can squeeze into their allotted column space. Take Kenneth Turan, film critic for the Los Angeles Times, and his summation of the latest George Clooney flick The American: “The American is an exercise in...

Communiqué.
The internet is a fantastic place.
It’s also home to a bunch of seemingly faceless haters.
I was lucky enough to receive this message on a YouTube clip we posted of me shaving my legs for radio (I happened to sound off about my co-host and her lack of shaving effort during the winter months - my bad!):
“mate ur a fagget for shavinjg ur legs , wat u gonna do nxt , wear a dress nd...
Dogs & Corn Chips.
Have you ever wondered why your dogs feet smell like corn chips?
Me neither…
Anyway, Mental Floss have done some investigation and it’s stems from a bacteria on their feet called Proteus, which has a corn chip-like smell!
Read more about it here.
